Be My Valentine

What does Valentine’s Day mean to you? To me its anatomical hearts, rose horticulture, and chocolate making,  Also my favorite muses, Bengal cat brothers Uschi-swirl, Tanjiro, and Vladimir.

Love, not martyrs

Valentine’s Day may originate in the story of martyrs and incredible sacrifice, but it has morphed into a celebration of love.  Attraction and affection takes many forms: love of life, love of others, love of self, love of learning, and so much more.

Little Loves

Today I’m thinking of my three furry loves, Bengal cat brothers Tanji, Uschi, and Vladi.  There can’t be anyone or anything that would provide so many consecutive moments of happiness as these three bundles of joy.

I am assembling items for a “Love” assemblage, and these paintings I made years ago will be part of the overall piece.
